Data Migration Service

User needs an active Google Workspace account to request for Data Migration Service.

1-Click here to open the request form

2-User is required to sign in with Google Workspace account first. If user already signed in, this step is bypassed

3-The registration form is showed after successfully login

4-Enter your user name, password (of Zimbra server), select data to migrate (1, 3 or 6 months)

5-Click Register

If the registration is accepted, your request is placed in queue for serving. You will receive report from Google Workspace Administrator when the migration process finishes. Note: do not change your Zimbra password while Data Migration service is processing your data.

You can also get following errors when requesting migration service:

The Mail ID is not the same as currently active user. Sign-out all Google-based accounts and try again.

Sign out all active Google accounts and do the process again (by clearing browser history).

Invalid user or password. Refresh your browser to do again. 

Check your Zimbra password and do it again by refresh the browser.

User ...  already registered at ...

Each user needs to request for data migration service only once. If you did it before, do not do again.

Note:

  1. The migration time can take from some hours to a couple of days, depends on your data volume
  2. Mails with greater than 25MB or virus infected attachments are excluded
  3. Some normal emails may be marked as spam and move to Spam mail folder at Google Workspace. Look at Spam mail folder to take them out.
