High-Performance Computing (HPC) system at Ton Duc Thang University is built to provide computing resource for scientific research and handling computationally intensive tasks in the university’s management.
The HPC is located at the Computing Center of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), No.19 Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
The system comprises of 6 interconnected computing nodes with dedicated 10Gbps connections and is equipped with Tesla K-80 GPU. The computing power of the system reaches 13,756 TFLOPS, equivalent to approximately 13.756 trillion floating-point operations per second.
The HPC is based on CentOS 7 (64-bit) operating system, with 228 CPU cores and 9,984 GPU cores, consisting of:
- 1 head node with 40 CPU cores, 128 GB RAM
- 3 computing nodes, each with 40 CPU cores, 64 GB RAM
- 1 large-memory computing node with 40 CPU cores, 64 GB RAM
- 1 GPU computing node with 28 CPU cores and 9,984 GPU cores, 64 GB RAM
- Total storage capacity is 8.4 TB.

The system is deployed to meet the computational needs of scientific research and management at the university. Lecturers, researchers, and long-term postgraduate students have free access to the system within specified resource limits based on user groups.
